Sometimes the best words are made up. Full of meaning, but nowhere to be found in a dictionary. Of course, if “ellenize” was in a dictionary, a picture of Ellen Jespersen would be next to it.
Ellen has two decades of experience in communications, writing, and graphic design. What else would you expect from an English major and art minor who practically lived at the campus newspaper office during college? It all had to lead somewhere.
After years of formal employment as a communications director (during which time the word “ellenize” was created by her co-workers), Ellen launched her home-based design business. For a while, she was known as Smart Cookie Creative but phone calls for cookie bouquets got tiresome.
Now she shares her days with her young family, while providing exceptional service to clients. It’s what she does best, and she loves (almost) every minute of it.
